Andrew S. Rubin, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of the International Society for Autism, as well as Executive Director of New Directions, Inc., which provides specialized services for young adults in the clinical, academic, vocational, and life management arenas. His expertise integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, developmental theory, and neuropsychology into evidence-based, compassionate treatment. Dr. Rubin has served as lead psychologist at Nova Southeastern University’s Unicorn Child Development Clinic, was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to the Florida Board of Psychology, and has extensive teaching experience in child development, psychopathology, assessment, and therapeutic intervention. He lectures widely on developmental disabilities, behavioral disorders, depression, anxiety, and addiction, and has held positions at Tulane University, Louisiana State University Health Science Center, and other leading hospitals and training institutions.
